Baby Alpaca Performs a Dreamy Song Off Their New Album
We stumbled across Baby Alpaca back in 2013 and immediately fell in love with singer Chris Kittrell’s hypnotic voice—the way it sounded almost like playing a vinyl record a little too slow and how listening somehow made time itself seem to slow down.
Then they went quiet for two years, but it turns out that Baby Alpaca had been traveling the country, writing new songs at their own pace. And now, finally, their full album, titled Under Water, is completed and slated for a May release. To reintroduce you to their dreamy sound, here, Baby Alpaca is giving us an exclusive live performance of their new song “Will I Ever See You Again?” According to Kittrell, the song is meant to help “people when they are missing someone—a friend. A lover. A relative lost. That they will always be together. Even if only in memories.”
